I stood in the queue for four and a half hours today just to open a bank account. By the time things were done, it was five hours! FIVE hours!!

Well, enough said. I met a few more people today. Had a good time. AND now, it's time for bed.

I enjoyed watching the mechanism when the plane takes off. Quite sad that I'm leaving to UK. Hmm... this is going to be a long 'holiday'.

First day walking around London. I visited a few places such as Big Ben, London Eye etc. Walked around quite a fair bit. It was pretty tiring. Hmm took quite a number of pictures. Here are a few random pictures.

Okie, enough pics on me. Here's a picture of London Eye. I haven't been on it yet though. It looks as though it isn't moving but actually in reality it is moving very very VERY slowly! Hmmm wonder how long it takes to complete a full circle, few hours maybe..? I think I might get bored..:p

Had a very nice italian lunch. Walked past London Dungeons but dared not go in. Hehe.. I don't want nightmares when I stay alone on campus righT?? Better safe than sorry.. hehe.. :p

Next up... at Madame Tussauds where you sort of meet the rich and famous AND have a green huge giant chasing after you! :p





Did more sight seeing. It's quite tiresome to keep track of which bus to hop on, where to get the bus. Different bus stands there are different buses to go there. It can be a bit of a hassle at times especially when you can't find the place to board the right bus. Oh ya, taking the underground Tube is way faster. Getting stuck in a jam is no fun!

On the way to the train station. Saw these berries (?) on the trees. There were so many of them. OH ya, I spotted a chestnut on the ground too!


A small small part of Buckingham Palace. A few of the queen's gowns were on display. SO many sequins and pearls and.. shiny stuff sewn on it. I'm JEALOUS!! Haha.. then again, I don't want to be a queen. :p I wanna just be me! ^^

Windsor Castle. I managed to witness the changing of guards. Hmm.. they looked really really serious. The commands were really loud too! I think they look cute in their uniforms though. :p

Made my way to Coventry and subsequently to The University Of Warwick. I quite like the place here. There's going to be a lot of walking though. Hmm.. more exercise for me. >.<

It seems that I'm situated in the old building of Rootes. I find it fairly nice though. It seems quite new to me! Hmm.. I think they changed the furniture in my room. It seems to be new. ^^ I like my room. That's a plus right?? :p

Hmm.. wonder who my floormates will be. Haha.. sounds weird right? Floormates. Hmm.. don't know how to refer to them. I mean we live on the same floor and we're gonna share the facilities on this floor. Oh ya, my room is on the topmost floor of block C. The fourth floor. Luckily someone helped me with my luggage this morning. *phew*

Hmm I'll be going to Oxford tomorrow. It's a day trip, I'll be leaving at 9.30am. Wonder if it'll be nice. So far, I've met up with the people from Taylors', there are 5 of them and another girl whom I know from ballet. I just met 3 people from Hk, 2 from Thailand, 1 from India, 1 from Uk, 1 from Vietnam and 6 more from Malaysia. Well, don't really remember their names. Some were the people who were wearing red t-shirts today and helping me! Hehe...

Hope I'll make more friends tomorrow. So far I know of 3 others who are also going to do MORSE. *yay!*

Well, for starters I had a pleasant flight! :) I didn't get bored! :p

Hmm.. watched quite a number of movies; "She's The Man", "Over The Hedge","Akeelah And The Bee" & an episode of House. :) Fun fun... Oh, I got to eat TWO ice-creams too! They served one for lunch, it's a mini magnum walls ice-cream. Later they secretly gave me one when I asked if they could. Hehe.. YAY! ^^ Oh, I played a few games too. Hmm looks like I can't be a millionaire :(

Hmm.. London seems okay so far. Not much different from KL except for the people, building and such. More or less still doing the same thing and well, walking around taking pics, getting tired... >.<

Missing people back home. Days just seem to pass as though I'm on holiday or just having hols at home where I hang out with my mum. There was a party at my place yesterday. So glad that some of my primay and secondary classmates or schoolmates could make it!! SO HAPPY to meet up with you guys! :) Well, most of my relatives were there too. So noisy and happening! Haha...
(to my college mates, I'll try to meet up with you guys too ya? my house has limited space. pls don't be angry)

Anyway, I had to wake up early in the morning to prepare things. Went to the market with mum, then to the supermarket, helped about the house. I think things went really really REALLY well that night. I wished I could have spent more time with everyone but seeing you guys was really good! I'm really thankful to those who showed up and to those who tried! Thanks you guys!! I'm gonna miss you guys so SO MUCH!

Hmm... really had fun yesterday. Hope you guys did too. Oh ya! Thanks for all the presents!! I didn't expect anything! Haha... just wanted to catch up and well chit chat a little :p Now, I have two more scarves and a cute teddy bear keychain! :)

I'm quite blessed to have such a close knitted family. Everyone's so nice and warm. I feel really lucky. I got a few earrings and a hair clip from my couz, a jacket from my aunt, few 'ang pows' from my aunts and my grandparents. Today, another one of my couz who couldn't make it yesterday dropped by just to say goodbye to me. So very sweet of her! AND she even bought me not one but TWO jackets!! Gosh... I feel incredibly lucky! So happy to be in such a nice big WONDERFUL family :)

Haha... I just feel really lucky and happy right now.

Almost went for a movie today but decided not to as I have to prepare some stuff for uni. Well, just realised I've been to the movies a LOT lately. Haha... watched almost everything till we ended up catching a Cantonese movie yesterday. It was okay... typical storyline.

Hmm... can still see the needle marks on my arms. :( Went for med check up yesterday. I was really really scared! At first, dad made an appointment for the full med check up but when we arrived the lady questioned why was I going to do such a detailed check up as I was so young! Haha... so, we were referred to another department. Hmm did a pretty simple check up. I DON"T like needles!! :( *pain* The doc was really really sweet though. She's SO NICE! :)

Going off to the UK soon. Well, on the 18 of September to be precise. Feeling sad and somewhat excited. Hope everything will be okay! Gonna miss lots of things...

I just realised I have SO MUCH of clothes! Gosh... it feels as though I bought an entire wardrobe of clothes. Hmm an entire makeover sort of thing. AND to think I got MORE clothes today too. Omg.... How's it gonna fit into my suitcase?? Better yet... so MUCH laundry! >.<

Anyway, went to watch an MPO performance today. :) It was rather fuN!

Hehe... well, that's about it for now. Will be leaving to the uk or more specifically to The University Of Warwick which is situated in Coventry (and NOT the town of warwick) to read MORSE (mathematics, operational research, statistics and economics). I know.. the name SOUNDS pretty cool. Well, my flight is on the 18 of September. Hope to meet up with as many friends as possible before then!

Went to so many places the past week. Getting this and that. *phew* It can be quite tiring at times.

Met up with Sim and Vincent at pyramid today. It was pretty fun to hang around with them not forgetting jon jon and calvin! :) Feeling bit sad to see so many friends leaving already, going out for movies or to 'yam char' would be difficult. :(

Went to Nando's for lunch. Didn't like the coleslaw as it was BiTteR! *yuck*
The game of bowling afterwards was fun and FUNNY! :) Hmm.. don't know why my ball kept going to the right over and over again. weird...

Thursday... Merdeka day!
Went back to gram's place today! Ate so so SO much today. Hmm... kinda like the 'kampung' life. :p Just us few kids walking out to buy some chips & candy. Hmm.. it's really a nice getaway from the city. We even got ice-cream for 30 & 40 cents! :)

Wednesday
Went and did my visa today. We were the first to arrive at the office. :) The guy there was really nice. Hehe... after that we didn't have to take a number. (We had to go photocopy a few documents & came back to submit it) :) So nice.

Oh, I saw lots and LOTS of fireworks today too!! We were shopping at The Curve, Ikea, 1U and when we were just about to walk into Cineleisure to the carpark, we saw tiny fireworks. At first we thought of staying to watch but then seeing as they were kind of tiny, well, we decided to go off before the crowd started to leave. When we were few steps into the building, it was as though there were lots and lots of thunder outside. The noise was deafening!! We went out and saw a beautiful display of fireworks. Really thrilled to watch! Sometimes it was a bit scary as it felt as though it was coming straight at you.

We left earlier but still got a chance to witness the fireworks from the outside. Cars stopped to watch the display. I manage to take a few pics with my hp. :) It was simply beautiful!!

Tuesday jon jon treated me to a movie and LUNCH at midvalley! :) So happy!! We watched 'Snakes On A Plane'. It was quite a nice movie with some surprises here and there. Didn't like the parts where the snakes were attacking people. Some were so gross.... ewwww...

Monday
I went shopping and had lots of fun trying out clothes, looking at stuff. :) I had an enormous meal at dome's too!! The food was YUMMY!! :)

Felt so so SO HAPPY!! Someone looked so adorable in a shirt!! Hehe.... hope you like it :p
